1. Marketplace role
SokoYetu provides a marketplace where buyers can discover products and sellers can list products. Some products may be listed directly by SokoYetu through approved sourcing or wholesale import workflows.
2. Accounts
Users must provide accurate account information and keep login details secure. Buyers, sellers and admins have different access rights. Admin tools must not be used by buyers or sellers unless authorised.
3. Products and pricing
Product prices, discounts, stock levels and descriptions should be accurate. SokoYetu may update, hide or remove products that are misleading, unsafe, unlawful, counterfeit, unavailable or incorrectly priced.
4. Orders and payments
Orders are confirmed based on product availability, payment status and seller acceptance where applicable. M-PESA payments should only be treated as complete after payment confirmation is received.
5. Live selling
Sellers using live shopping must show products honestly, avoid misleading claims, respond professionally and follow marketplace rules. SokoYetu may moderate or remove live sessions that break policy.
6. Restrictions
Users must not upload false content, attempt fraud, abuse the platform, sell prohibited goods, misuse customer data, copy another seller's content unlawfully or interfere with the website.
7. Changes
SokoYetu may update these terms as the platform grows. Continued use of the platform means the user accepts the updated terms.
